BANGKOK, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) -- The Thai Pollution Control Department (PCD) reported on Monday an unhealthy level of air pollution covering 15 main areas in Bangkok, with particulate matter smaller than PM2.5.

The PCD said that levels of 42-66 micrograms per cubic meter were found in the air, exceeding the safety threshold of 50 micrograms per cubic meter of air to the unhealthy level between 53-66 microgram per cubic meters.

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand’s energy minister said on Sunday the drone attacks on oil facilities in Saudi Arabia, the world’s top exporter, would have no impact on Thai oil imports.

Yemen’s Iran-aligned Houthi group claimed responsibility for Saturday’s drone attacks on two facilities of state-run oil company Saudi Aramco at the heart of the kingdom’s oil industry, knocking out more than half of Saudi oil output.

Aramco, whose CEO said the situation had been brought under control, has contracts with Thailand’s state-controlled PTT Pcl.

BANGKOK, Sept 12 (NNN-TNA) – Thailand’s Constitutional Court, dropped a petition filed against Prime Minister, Prayut Chan-o-cha, over his alleged failure to conduct July’s oath-taking ceremony in full.

The Constitutional Court judges, reached a unanimous resolution to lift the charges against Prayut, for allegedly failing to read out the full message of the ceremonial oath, as stipulated in the constitution’s Section 161, before King Maha Vajiralongkorn.

BANGKOK, Sept 8 (NNN–BERNAMA) – ASEAN collectively recorded higher trade and foreign direct investments (FDIs) last year despite current global economic uncertainties and the ongoing trade war between China and the United States (US).

In a joint statement in conjunction with the 51st ASEAN Economic Ministers’ (AEM) Meeting, the ministers said based on preliminary data, trade in goods in the region increased by 8.7 per cent year-on-year (y-o-y) while trade in services expanded by 10.6 per cent y-o-y.

BANGKOK, Sept. 6 (Xinhua) -- The Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) talks among the 10 member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and their six trade partner countries are scheduled in the Thai capital on Saturday and Sunday.

The RCEP talks will be chaired by Thailand's Deputy Prime Minister and Commerce Minister Jurin Laksanawisit who said on Friday that Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha and himself were pushing for conclusion to the RCEP talks within this year.
