MINSK, June 18. /TASS/: The Russian Energy Ministry agreed the schedule of oil supplies to Belarusian refineries over main oil pipelines in the amount of 5.75 mln tonnes in the third quarter of 2020, Belneftekhim Holding said on Thursday.

"The schedule of oil supplies over main oil pipelines to Belarusian refineries was determined together with the Russian Energy Ministry with the volume of 5.75 mln tonnes in the third quarter of 2020 (2.875 mln tonnes to each refinery)," the company said.

MINSK, June 5. /TASS/: The terms of further presence of Russia’s two military facilities in Belarus are in the process of internal coordination. Russia will be notified of the decision in due time, the Belarusian Defense Ministry told TASS on Friday.

MINSK, Belarus (AP) — About 1,000 protesters denouncing authoritarian Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko’s seeking of another term in an upcoming election have held the largest opposition demonstration of the year in the capital Minsk.

Many of the demonstrators carried slippers as a symbol of protest leader Sergei Tikhanovsky’s call to “smash the cockroach.”

Police, who frequently break up opposition demonstrations, didn’t interfere with the protesters on Sunday.

MINSK, May 2. /TASS/: Belarusian president’s press secretary Natalia Eismont said on Saturday President Alexander Lukashenko sees no need in being tested for the novel coronavirus because he is feeling well.

"I know that the president has not been tested for the coronavirus infection. There is no need in that," she said in an interview with the Belarus 1 television channel. According to the spokeswoman, the president is feeling well.

MINSK (Reuters) - Belarus Finance Minister Maxim Yermolovich said on Thursday Minsk is due to receive emergency funding of $500-900 million from the International Monetary Fund this year due to the coronavirus crisis.

Belarus plans to cut budget spending, the minister said.

Yermolovich told reporters that Belarus still plans to issue Eurobonds and bonds on the Russian markets in the future after Minsk postponed a Eurobonds issue in March.
