RIYADH, Nov 11 (Reuters) - Saudi Arabia and other Muslim countries called on Saturday for an immediate end to military operations in Gaza, rejecting Israel's justification of its actions against Palestinians as self-defence.

The extraordinary joint Islamic-Arab summit in Riyadh urged the International Criminal Court to investigate "war crimes and crimes against humanity that Israel is committing" in the Palestinian territories, according to a final communique.

11 November 2023; MEMO: Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince, on Friday, called for an end to the war in Gaza, a stance later echoed in a declaration with African leaders attending a summit in Riyadh, Reuters reports.

"We condemn what the Gaza Strip is facing from military assault, targeting of civilians, the violations of international law by the Israeli Occupation authorities" Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman said during the African-Saudi summit in the Kingdom’s capital.

"We condemn what the Gaza Strip is facing from military assault, targeting of civilians, the violations of international law by the Israeli occupation authorities," Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman said during the African-Saudi summit in the kingdom's capital.

"We stress on the need to stop this war and the forced displacement of Palestinians," he added.

10 November 2023; MEMO: Arab foreign ministers have categorically rejected the displacement of Palestinians to Egypt and Jordan as well as Israel’s occupation of the Gaza Strip, and called for “holding Israel accountable for its crimes against the Palestinian people before the relevant international courts.”

RIYADH, Nov 9 (Reuters) - The Saudi Fund for Development will sign agreements worth 2 billion riyals ($533 million) with African countries, Saudi Finance Minister Mohammed Al-Jadaan said on Thursday during the Saudi-Arab-African Economic Conference in Riyadh.

"We are working with partners to support Ghana and other countries regarding their debt," Jadaan added.

Saudi Investment Minister Khalid Al-Falih later said at the same conference the kingdom's more than $700 billion wealth fund, the Public Investment Fund, will make some "game changing" investments in Africa.

26 October 2023; MEMO: Saudi Aramco and Enowa, Neom’s energy and water subsidiary, have signed a joint development agreement to construct and establish a synthetic electro-fuel (e-fuel) demonstration plant, Middle East Business Intelligence reports.

According to the report, the plant will be in Enowa’s Hydrogen Innovation and Development Centre (HIDC).

RIYADH, Oct 20 (APP): The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) leaders on Friday came together to the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia (TAC) on the invitation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

RIYADH, Oct 20 (Reuters) - The Saudi crown prince and president of the United Arab Emirates met on Friday, state media reported, as the two Gulf states worked to overcome their differences amid a conflict between Israel and Hamas that threatens to engulf the Middle East.

Saudi state news agency SPA showed footage of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the kingdom's de facto ruler, receiving UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan at Riyadh's airport.
